At yachts-rental.com, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide clear and fair terms for customers while helping us manage yacht availability and confirmed bookings.
1. Booking Payment
For economy yacht rentals, customers are required to pay a AED 100 booking payment to secure the reservation.
The AED 100 payment can be made through available payment methods such as:
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Bank transfer
For luxury and larger yachts, the required deposit is determined based on the selected yacht, rental duration, number of guests, and any additional services requested.
Additional services may include:
- Catering and food
- Water sports
- Decorations
- Cakes
- Special occasion arrangements
- Other requested services
The required deposit for luxury and larger yacht bookings will be communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.
2. Cancellation More Than 72 Hours Before the Booking
If the customer cancels the confirmed booking at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure time, the full amount paid for the booking will be refunded.
This includes the applicable booking payment or deposit paid to secure the reservation.
3. Cancellation Within 72 Hours
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled departure time are generally non-refundable because the yacht and time slot have been reserved specifically for the customer.
However, if the reserved yacht and time slot are successfully booked by another customer, we may refund the amount paid by the original customer.
4. No-Show
If the customer does not arrive for the confirmed booking at the agreed departure time, the amount paid will normally be non-refundable.
However, if we are able to successfully rebook the same yacht and time slot to another customer, the amount paid by the original customer will be refunded.
5. Weather and Safety Cancellation
The safety of our customers and crew is our highest priority.
If the captain or relevant maritime authorities determine that the yacht cannot safely operate because of weather, sea conditions, marine warnings, government restrictions, or other safety-related circumstances, the customer may choose between:
- Rescheduling the booking to another available date and time, or
- Receiving a full refund of the amount paid.
Any rescheduled booking is subject to yacht availability.
6. Rescheduling by the Customer
Customers who need to change their booking date or time should contact us as early as possible.
Rescheduling requests are subject to yacht availability and may be affected by the timing of the request.
Where a booking is rescheduled, the new date and time must be confirmed by our team.
7. Additional Services
If additional services have been arranged for a booking, such as catering, decorations, cakes, entertainment, or water sports, cancellation or refund arrangements for those services may depend on whether the service has already been prepared, purchased, or arranged with a third-party provider.
Any applicable conditions will be communicated to the customer.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be returned using the applicable payment method or another agreed payment method.
The time required for the refund to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider, bank, or payment method used.
9. Yacht Substitution or Unavailability
In exceptional circumstances, a yacht may become unavailable because of mechanical problems, safety concerns, operational restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where possible, we may offer a comparable alternative yacht or reschedule the booking.
If an appropriate alternative cannot be provided, the customer may receive a refund of the amount paid in accordance with the applicable booking arrangements.
10. How to Request a Cancellation
To request a cancellation, customers should contact us as soon as possible and provide:
- Booking name
- Booking date
- Scheduled departure time
- Selected yacht
- Contact details
The cancellation request should be submitted through the contact details provided with the booking confirmation.
11. Important Notice
The cancellation time is calculated based on the scheduled departure time shown on the confirmed booking.
Customers are encouraged to contact us as early as possible if their plans change.
